Serius - Kedai Di Malaysia Enggan Mengambil Pekerja Berhijab?

What?

  6. "This is clearly NOT Islamic country"
    Yeah...so...?

"Even UK is not like this"
Mmmmm...nope. Some place in UK accept employee with hijab, some dont. Same goes with here. There are many malls with Hijabis workers. Common. Look at most supermarket. 7E, Kfc, etc.

    So, it is...well...same.

    1. i totally understand your point here.
maybe what she faced in the UK were not the same as in Malaysia.
Only that, over here, branding with 1Malaysia, islamic country's title.. do not reflect the true identity.

nvm. u are entitled with ur opinion. respect. :) cheers!

    2. hv u been in the UK? in the UK, for jobs that she applied in stores like that, there should be no problems with her hijab. if employees disagree to hire a worker because of the way she dresses (reflecting her faith), they could face legal consequences. she is not applying for a job that requires her to strip her outfit, so why her hijab should be an issue? another issue; like siti aishah stated is about Malaysia declares itself as a state of Islam but discriminates Islamic practices.

your reply for just saying 'yeah...so' does not contribute to a discussion

    2. benda utama y dia nak ketengahkan ialah perbandingan antara malaysia y agama nasionalnya ialah islam dan UK y tidak berpaksikan apa apa agama. biarpun di UK y mana memg majoritinya bukan Islam, diorg x da masalah nak terima dia sbgi pekerja biarpun dia bertudung. di Malaysia y majoritinya muslim, dia didiskriminasi sebab tudung dia. n pasti ke saudara/i y majikan tmpt dia minta kerja tu bukan islam?

  10. Sebenarnya kalau masalah macam ni adik adik boleh buat report kat Jabatan sumber manusia. Jangan report kat fb je. Kalau org Jabatan buat tak tau je itu maknanya dia org tgh kumpul bukti. He he he

  12. Topshop tak sesuai kot orang pakai tudung kerja. irony dengan imej tudung yg ditunjukkan. Yes, maybe boleh pakai kat rumah or tempat tertutup. But still imej topshop tak sesuai dengan orang bertudung. Iklan pon da seksi2. Target market pon different. Nike, esprit and Isetan I ada je nampak pakai tudung. But not in klcc kot. Maybe it is best for her to opt for other outlet. Maybe F&B. Inipon kena make sure halal. Sebab kalau tak, sama je ceritanya dengan topshop tadi. To me it is not about Malaysia. Company tu punya marketing strategy. My 2 cents.
